This video tutorial demonstrates registration of Third-Party SIP devices to Cisco Unified Communication Manager(CUCM ) 5/6. In Cisco Call Manager 4.1(3) and older versions, only SIP trunks were supported between Call manager and SIP gateways/Proxy Servers.Beginning with Cisco Unified Communication Manager 5.x , Cisco included native support for SIP based IP phones/SoftPhones.
SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) is a well-known and widely deployed industry-standard protocol in IP Telephony today. This tutorial will help you register any Third party SIP phone with CUCM 5.x/6.x .I have used X-lite Softphone.
Download X-lite Softphone
Enjoy !
Thanks.

@Taher,If you are asking about SIP phone, you can download SIP softphone from the links mentioned at end of this post.Sure, you can use any hardware SIP phones with CUCM as well and it will work just fine. You can find your SIP device MAC address listed in CUCM phone administration page.I hope this answers your query!
Let me know if you need any further info.
Thanks!

Is there a way to do this with an AD integrated system? I could probably create dummy AD accounts, but I would prefer not to.

@JonW,Yes, CUCM can be integrated with AD.Look for configuration guides on Cisco.com
