In this tutorial , i will demonstrate how you can setup Cisco Configuration Professional to manage your devices. Cisco Configuration Professional is the new device manager for the ISRs and will replace Cisco Router and Security Device Manager (SDM) over time. Like SDM, Cisco Configuration Professional assumes a general understanding of networking technologies and terms that assists individuals unfamiliar with the Cisco CLI. Over time Cisco Configuration Professional functionality will expand to include more voice features and other technologies.
Cisco Configuration Professional is a graphical user interface (GUI) device management tool for Cisco IOS® Software–based access routers including Cisco Integrated Services Routers and Cisco 7200, and 7301 Series Routers. Cisco Configuration Professional simplifies router, security,Unified Communications, wireless,WAN and basic LAN configuration through GUI-based easy-to-use wizards. The workflows in Cisco Configuration Professional help medium-sized business and enterprise customers and Cisco partners to quickly and easily deploy, configure, and monitor a Cisco router without requiring knowledge of the command-line interface (CLI).

Thanks for all the great information as well.
Thank You so much for the videos.
I get an error: “CCP doesn’t support this hardware platform” when I try to “Discover” a new device with the Cisco Configuration Pro.
I noticed that You are using a “TAP-Win32 Adapter v9″ on the Cloud config, while I’ am using the Microsoft Loopback. Is possible the error is generated by the “Microsoft Loopback” (SDM works great on the same “Loopback” configuration)?
I installed the “TAP-Win32 Adapter v9″ provided with OpenVPN on Win XP, configured the IP address on it but the adapter results always DISCONNECTED (UNPLUGGED CABLE) and no ping form router is possible.
How can I use the TAP on Windows XP (under assumption this is the problem).
Thank You so much
Porbably the error relies on the IOS version. Which IOS image did u use for the video?
Thank You
