This tutorial will demonstate how Cisco Unified Call Manager Express router can be configured to support XML (Xtensible Markup Language) for Cisco IP Phone Services. This powerful feature allows system administrators to create and manage new XML services for Organization’s unique requirements.IP phone users can access any services like flight status checking, stock quotes, headline news, calendar view etc..depending on services configured by Administrator.
I will use a publicly available free berbee XML service . You can create your own Organizations’ custom logo.I have created and used a custom logo using Gif2Cip application which will be displayed on IP phone screen when it goes idle.
Enjoy !
