Whatever IP you pick has to be within the subnet that your computer is on. My computer's IP is 192.168.1.100 with subnet 255.255.255.0
So I picked the SDM's router IP as 192.168.1.110 255.255.255.0 and it worked.
I was so stupid when I used 6.6.6.6 255.255.255.0 as in the tutorial.

I finally figured it out.

The readers have to understand that by following this instruction, you are actually adding a real "virtual" router into your existing network. That IP 6.6.6.5 in the video is real. He/she didn't make it up. In my network, I used 192.168.1.105. If you can't ping your IP, then you can't install the SDM.

The second major point in this video is that make sure you select the working ethernet adapter for "Cloud." I randomly selected all the adapters and eventually there was one that worked.
