I have followed the tutorial to the point where SDM is to be installed. I have connected the cloud to my XP's physical NIC and can ping both ways. However i cant get the installation to connect. I tried telnetting to the router but the telnet window just sits there..no login promt..same with ssh from putty to the router. I also tried https and http from I.E...nothing.
I added a switch between the cloud and router and added in a second router linked to the switch and successfully telnetted and ssh'ed to the router from within GNS3. My firewall has been turned off in XP...and the pc and GNS3 have been restated mulitple times. I also tried setting up TAP interface but here I get no ping replys...same when trying MS loopback...
Any suggestions?

@funso,
I know it has been a while but perhaps this can help someone else. I had the same issue with the script in Vista and the solution is to run it as administrator (rightclick and select run as administrator) - even if you are already logged in as one.
