How to disable internal web server for Cisco IP Communicator
By default, Cisco IP communicator has an internal built-in web server .This can reveal important information like Directory Number, Model number, Device Network settings, Cisco Call Manager settings etc..which you might not want others to know about. Secondly , you might have configured your machine for Web Server (like in case of Microsoft IIS) and you might want to disable CIPC web server .
You will need to tweak windows registry settings in order to disable web server for CIPC . This tutorial will help you accomplish this goal.

Enjoy !
